You are looking at a rare religious necklace design. The Cyrillic inscription on the front side indicates the title of the icon of Panachranta type: "The image of the Most Holy Mother of God of Kyiv Pechersk". It depicts Saint Mary with Jesus Christ. She is surrounded by Saint Anthony and Venerable Father Theodosius of the Caves. There are also lovely angels with wings holding the abbreviations of Theotocos and Jesus. The Prayer text on the back side stands for: "Rejoice, the Most Holy Mother of God, the Virgin Pecherskaya, you are our praise and encouragement".
