The prayer inscription stands for the Lord's Prayer which is a venerated Christian prayer that, according to the New Testament, was taught by Jesus to his disciples: "Отче наш, Иже еси на небесех! Да святится имя Твое, да приидет Царствие Твое, да будет воля Твоя, яко на небеси и на земли. Хлеб наш насущный даждь нам днесь; и остави нам долги наша, якоже и мы оставляем должником нашим; и не введи нас во искушение, но избави нас от лукаваго."
The translation is the following: "Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil."
The prayer scripture on the last page "Спаси и сохрани" means "Save and protect."
