The font side of the cross pendant depicts Jesus crucifix and the inscriptions Jesus Christ, Son of God. The image of crucifixion is surrounded by four Evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. On the top the bail ring is decorated by Jesus Christ head, also called the Vernicle Image of Edessa or the Holy Face of Savior not made by human hands.
The back side of the pendant shows the icon of Mother of God Mary, called Our Lady of the Sign, and the abbreviations of Theotokos and Jesus Christ. It’s surrounded by the Archangels Michael and Gabriel on the left and right sides. On the top and the bottom we see the images of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker and Holy Seraphim of Sarov.
The inside inscription prayer to God says: "Save and protect".
