The medal depicts the reproduction of the famous icon Trinity created by the outstanding Medieval painter Andrei Rublev in the 15th century. The painting is also called The Hospitality of Abraham. The back side of the medal shows the blessing prayer scripture in the Old Slavonic language "Пресвятая Троице, помилуй нас" that means "The most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us".
The Cyrillic inscription on the front side "Святая Троица" stands for "Saint Trinity".
